Website

Joyce Noland gave a presentation on the website.  Our goal is to get people to visit the website for information. The player reps will be glad to help anyone who is having trouble navigating the website.

The format of the calendar was discussed. We encourage people to discuss their preferences with the player representatives.

We're also encouraging people to use sign-up genius for court reservations  There is now a separate sign-up for play in Gym 1. If you have any trouble using this tool, your player representative will be glad to help you.

The leadership team, player reps, and committee heads are listed under the "Contact us" tab of the website.  A link for e-mailing each of them is included.

Facebook

Sally Fuller and Lisa Campbell are the new Facebook administrators.

Social

Nancy Vermilye is the social chairman.  She is planning a fall social for September 23rd.  There will be a potluck meal and the opportunily to play pickleball.

Other possiblities are carry-in meals one morning a month, and having the group go out to eat once a month.

Ratings

The leadership team will meet with Ron Nelson to discuss the rating process and any modifications that may be necessary.

Ladder

Josh Booth suggested doing a club ladder.

Schedule

After hearing input from the player reps, it was agreed that drop-in play mixed level, drop-in play court designation, and court reservation play would be the three formats.  Court designation play will be reinstated during some of the morning hours. The player reps will get accurate counts of the number of players at each level, and at that point court allocation will be decided.  Court designation will be different for daytime versus evening play.  Gym 1 has been given to us for the first time this month to allow more evening play.

Players will be encouraged to enjoy the outdoor courts when possible.

The meeting was then adjourned.
