Atlantic Pickleball Region forms new Pickleball League

Pickleball enthusiasts from four Eastern States have joined forces and announced today the formulation of a new East Coast Pickleball League.  Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia are developing an event schedule for the upcoming 2022 Pickleball Season.

The new league will offer a traditional pickleball format for those who desire competitive play plus new and exciting events and activities for the less competitive recreational player. Kids events will also be added later in the year... The “Picklepalooza” as it will be called, will feature special round robins, clinics, games, mixers and a host of social events like barbecues and food gatherings.  Pickleball Virginia Beach VA is slated to hold the “first ever” regional pickleball championships during the fall of 2022. The brand-new 40+ court facility is called Pickleball Virginia Beach and is conveniently located near several attractions including an Aquarium, go kart track, water park and of course the beaches of Virginia Beach. Construction of up to 40+ courts is underway at the old Owl Creek Tennis Center at 928 Birdneck Road and will serve as the host for the 2022 Atlantic States Finals.  More info to follow as it becomes available.
